Rosa Hutor Mountain Resort and the Representative Office of Kweichou Moutai in the Russian Federation were strategic partners of the event.
The Forum was held in the format of intercultural albeit professional interaction between the young specialists from Russia and China with the aim of creating a platform for communication, establishing new and useful contacts for developing their careers in the realm of the Russian-Chinese relations. This year's event was attended by more than 200 young people from both countries.
In his welcoming address to the Forum’s participants, Mr. Vladimir Platonov, the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, emphasized that mutually beneficial cooperation with China has always been one of the most strategic directions for the MCCI. "In the last year, our interaction has significantly intensified; we receive many business delegations from China, involved in various sectors of economy,” - said the Head of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
According to Mr. Platonov, "This festival is unique: on the one hand, it is an excellent school of countries’ studies; while offering an opportunity for Russian participants to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the amazing and intriguing China, and for Chinese friends to see Russia more intimately in an informal setting, to communicate with their peers and to establish friendly ties. The festival provides a unique opportunity for people, who are passionate about diverse business projects, to socialize, present their startups and developments, find the like-minded people and discuss economic problems with attending professionals.” The President of the MCCI expressed confidence that the results of the Forum will be extremely useful for the economies and business communities of the two countries.
The political conundrums and changes of 2022 showed not only the historically high, unprecedented level of the Russian-Chinese relations, but also the acute problem of the lack of professional staff to maintain and bring these relations to a new level. “We pay very close attention to the selection and training of promising personnel in order to ensure the growing trade turnover between our countries," said Ms. Anna Bessmertnoya, the Chairperson of the MCCI Commission for Foreign Economic Cooperation with Partners in China.
Mr. Liu Xuesong, the Minister Plenipotentiary of the Chinese Embassy in Russia, noted at the Festival's opening ceremony that youth exchanges are a very important component of the "spiritual connection" between China and Russia, and a "beautiful illustration" of cooperation. In his opinion, youth contributes to the sustainable development of trade and economic cooperation between China and Russia.
"I hope that in the future, the young people of China and Russia will seize the opportunities of the times, continue to deepen cooperation in areas, such as engineering, digital economy, transportation, logistics, artificial intelligence, scientific and technological innovation, and strive forward, achieving successes to add more new highlights and vitality to the business trade and economic cooperation between the two countries," -- the Chinese diplomat said.
"We are gratified to see how, year after year, the number of those, who wish to dedicate their lives toward working with China, acquainting and understanding the Chinese culture, while strengthening the traditions of friendship between the peoples of our two countries is growing. Today we are witnessing events on the global scale and of historical significance," said Mr. Zhou Liqun, the Chairman of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia.
