The Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a working meeting of the MCCI’s President, Mr Vladimir Platonov, with a well-known social and political figure of North-West Africa, former minister - advisor, the Head of the Economic Department of Senegalese Embassy in Moscow, vice-president of the International Movement of Russophiles, Mr. Suleiman Anta Ndiaye.
The African guest said that he had studied Russian language at the Pushkin State Institute and knows and loves our country. In 2005, he helped regenerate the Senegalese Embassy in the Russian Federation. "Russia is an excellent partner for Africa. The Soviet Union helped Africa during the years of its struggle. Soviet Union helped South Africa, Angola and other African countries to overthrow the yoke of colonial burden. And now, this tradition continues in modern Russia.”Mr. Suleiman Anta Ndiaye noted that now is the perfect time to establish relationship between the business communities of Russia and Senegal. As Mr. Platonov emphasized, the MCCI, being a full-fledged element of the global ecosystem of Chambers of Commerce, is ready to provide comprehensive assistance in establishing business contacts with the Chambers of African countries, as well as to assist in promoting Senegalese business in Russian and Moscow markets.
