The purpose of the event was to discuss possible areas of cooperation between Moscow’s and Malaysian entrepreneurs in the field of IT industry and entering the Malaysian market.
Opening the event, the MCCI President, Mr. Platonov, emphasized: "Today we are working with those, who did not support the sanctions and with those who understand how beneficial it is to develop cooperation with Russian entrepreneurs". He noted that active work is underway: the exchange of delegations, meetings, participation in exhibitions. "Today's event will allow our entrepreneurs to communicate directly with each other, I believe that we should continue to develop new ways of communication for entrepreneurs - for example: to conduct th required negotiations online. If the MCCI member participates - it is guaranteed that he or she is a trustworthy entrepreneur, who successfully works in our country", - explained the President of the MCCI.The event was moderated by Mr. Vladislav Mishchenko, the Advisor to the President, Director of the Department of Foreign Economic Relations and International Cooperation of the MCCI.

The Senior Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in Malaysia, Deputy Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in Malaysia, Mr. Alexander Zimin and the Digital Attaché of the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Malaysia, Mr. Anton Toshchakov, made welcoming remarks.
