At the meeting the Russian side was represented by the Head of the Department for International and Interregional Cooperation, Mr. Yuri Morozov, CEO of the MCCI's Zelenograd branch, Mr. Roman Lipovoy, as well as the Chairman of the Guild of Information Technology and Digital Communications, Mr. Byuzand Zulumyan.
In his speech, Mr.Yuri Morozov described the economic situation in Moscow, the measures undertaken by the government of the city to support small and medium-sized enterprises, creating favorable conditions for entrepreneurs, the prospects and conditions for foreign companies entering the Moscow market. He also talked about ongoing projects at this time in Moscow, highlighting the active cooperation of Chinese and Russian entrepreneurs in areas such as construction, high technology, Internet commerce, education, health, investments, etc.
The head of the Chinese delegation, the Deputy Director General of the Commission on Economy and Information Technology of Guangdong Province, Mr. Y Yuguan, expressed his thanks for organizing the meeting and providing information that could be helpful to Chinese investors, who are preparing to enter the Moscow market. He spoke about the economic and trading potential of the Guangdong province. "The Guangdong province, noted Mr. U Yuguan, is one of the economic leaders among the Chinese provinces. The meeting resulted in agreeing to establish cooperation and possible participation of Moscow businessmen in the international fair of small and medium enterprises in China in October of next year.
