On April 4, a group of students from France visited the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The young people are studying in Moscow as exchange students in the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
The guests were given a presentation on the work of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, its goals and objectives, as well as the services it provides to entrepreneurs.
Mr. Suren Vardanyan, the Vice-President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, spoke with pride about the economic potential of Moscow. In addition, he elaborated on the concept of polycentric development of the capital, which includes enhancing transport infrastructure, improving the living conditions of Muscovites by instituting the renovation program and improving the level of the quality of life in peripheral areas of the capital.
Speaking about the development of entrepreneurship in Moscow, Mr. Vardanyan dwelt on measures to support investment projects and the capital's industry. Students were particularly interested in what is being done to aid youth entrepreneurship, and excited when informed about digitalization of basic urban services.
