On May 12, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry was visited by a delegation from the Pakistan’s National College of Management, headed by the rector, Mr Muhammad Ismail Qureshi. The MCCI was represented by the Vice President Mr Suren Vardanyan, and the head of the department of international and interregional cooperation of the MCCI Mr Yuri Morozov.
The parties discussed prospects for developing trade relations between two countries. In particular, Suren Vardanyan noted that now there are enough opportunities for exports from Pakistan to Russia of various goods, including the textile industry products. "I would recommend to turn to the experience of some foreign partners, who choose the path of investment and the setting up of production in Russia, which allows to optimize logistics’ costs and to utilize the demands of the market" - said Suren Vardanyan.
He also noted that there exist specific legal conditions for foreign investors in Moscow region today, in which the Government of Moscow appears the guarantor for all non-commercial risks.
The parties discussed the possibilities for cooperation regarding the export of agricultural products to Russia.
The partners also decided to provide the opportunities for the Pakistan's National Management College to search for partners in Moscow in order to develop an exchange system for their university.
