On November 14, a meeting was held between the Head of the Department of International Cooperation of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Yury Morozov, and the Head of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Marek Traczyk.
The meeting was conducted in a very cordial and constructive atmosphere - both sides stated that they are interested in developing extensive, relevant contacts and engender solid cooperation. “It is important for us to collaborate with Moscow, especially since we represent the capitals of the neighboring countries and work solely in the interests of business,” said Mr. Traczyk. “We are interested in a statutory settlement of regulatory inter-Chamber relations and are ready to conclude a Memorandum of Cooperation, tempered with pertinent practical content,” said Marek Traczyk.
Mr. Morozov and Mr. Traczyk discussed the likelihood of informational exchange, participation in the International Urban Forum in Moscow in 2019, as well as the feasibility of placing offers from Warsaw companies on the MCCI’s “Business Market” digital portal. Mr. Traczyk noted, “The portal is an effective and very fast channel of communication between companies, bypassing all barriers. We are ready to support this idea. ” The President of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in turn, introduced the portal “TTGBaltic.ru”, which focuses on developing business cooperation between the Eastern European countries.
Mr. Traczyk said that annually, under the auspices of the Warsaw Chamber of Commerce and Industry and with his direct participation, a Congress of the Eastern European countries is held, to which he is inviting the leadership and members of the MCCI. Moreover, the Warsaw Chamber is ready to cover the cost of the busing expenses and hotel accommodations for one night, including meals.
