The President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Vladimir Platonov, is assisting in the work of the Russo-Iranian Business Forum, taking place in the capital of Turkey, Tehran.
The Forum was organized by the Chamber of Trade, Industry, Mines and Agriculture of Iran and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
Among the Russian delegates, headed by the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Mr. Sergei Katyrin, are entrepreneurs from 10 Russian regions, the Heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan, Astrakhan, Rostov and Lipetsk regions, Russo-Iranian Business Council, top managers of Russian Railways, Rosatom, Rosspetsmash and others.
Participating in the Forum are the Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vyacheslav Volodin, Minister of Economy and Finance, Chairman of the Iranian sector of the Permanent Russo-Iranian Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation, Mr. Myasoud Karbasian, and the Russian Ambassador to Iran, Mr. Levan Jagarian.
The Head of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s presentation will describe Moscow's industrial and investment development at the Forum. The Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry embodies the Commission on Foreign Economic Cooperation, which is actively working with partners in Iran. Mutually beneficial contacts are maintained with the Iranian business community in such areas as energy, IT technologies, oil, gas, agro-industrial sectors, trade, logistics, and reciprocal deliveries of agricultural products.
