On July 19, within the framework of the meeting of the Council of the Heads of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Euro-Asian Space, an agreement was signed on cooperation between the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the CCI of Karachi (Pakistan).
The document was signed by the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Vladimir Platonov, and the President of the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Muffasar Atta Malik.
The document provides for interaction in matters of economic development, trade and investment. In particular, it plans to establish an exchange of information to develop economically advantageous logistics’ schemes. Particular attention is paid to the creation of optimal conditions for the prosperity of small and medium-sized enterprises, as well as individual entrepreneurs. The leaders and members of the two Chambers intend to take part in various exhibitions, conferences, organize business missions for the establishment of the mutually beneficial economic and trade ties and contacts.
The Pakistani delegation arrived in Moscow at the invitation of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry to participate in the events of the Moscow Urban Forum, including the panel discussions, organized by the Moscow Chamber of Commerce "Small and Medium Business in the Urban Environment" and "The Sphere of Hospitality and Models of Its Development in Urban Agglomerations".
