The world's largest international exhibition of modern materials, components and equipment for high-tech production of semiconductors and semiconductor products, SEMICON Japan, was opened on December 13, at the international exhibition center Tokyo Big Site. The exhibition is held annually since 1998.
The Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry has become the coordinator of the collective booth of Moscow innovative enterprises, organized with the support of the Moscow Government and the Moscow Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship. The participation in the work of the collective stand involves production companies of the innovative territorial cluster "Zelenograd", engaged in the development, production and promotion of innovative products. The development of investment projects is focused on the following areas: microchips and other semiconductor devices, metrological equipment for microelectronic production, materials and equipment for technological processes, equipment and technologies for lithography, micro electromechanical systems, optoelectronic components, equipment and technologies for assembly and installation of microchips, instrumentation for analysis and measurement.
On the opening day, the participants of the Moscow exhibition became acquainted with a wide range of presented products and planned specific B2B meetings.
On December 14, innovation companies of the capital will go on a business trip to the city of Kumamoto, to the site of the Japanese company, TEL, where they will be acquainted with the process of advanced production of equipment for making component microchips and microcircuits. On December 15, the participants will continue their work at the exhibition.
It is expected that participation in the SEMICON Japan exposition will create new opportunities for enhancing Moscow’s high-tech enterprises.
