On August 23rd, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting of the Vice-president of the MCCI, Suren Vardanyan, with the Commercial attache of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The sides expressed their mutual interest in resolving actual, practical questions on cooperation between Russian and Iranian businesses.
Commercial attache of the Islamic Republic of Iran outlined that the Iranian Government is willing to finance the participation of Russian companies in major exhibitions in Iran. Also, Iranian companies are very interested in participating in government tenders.
One of the most important topics for the Iranian business remains the export of agricultural products (fruits, dates, spice and so forth) – with this in mind, a separate Iranian pavilion within the FoodCity agro-cluster on the Kaluga highway is planned.
The Vice-President of the MCCI, Suren Vardanyan, offered Iranian businessmen, who are interested in working in Russia, introductory seminars, which will include such topics as legal guidance and support of business ( business registration , etc. ) , marketing aspects, et al. Suren Vardanyan also noted , that the MCCI provides visa support to entrepreneurs, who are planning to visit Moscow on business.
