To discuss cooperation and points of contact with the Bursa Chamber of Commerce, the MCCI President, Mr. Vladimir Platonov, met with the Vice President of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce (Republic of Turkey), Mr. Hassan Gürces.
Mr. Vladimir Platonov welcomed Mr.Hassan Gürces to the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and reminded that this is the platform created for work and business meetings of Moscow entrepreneurs. "Chambers of Commerce and Industry all over the world are united, cooperate and we are proud of the ties that have developed between the MCCI and Chambers of the Republic of Turkey," noted Mr. Platonov.
In response, the Vice President of Bursa Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Gürces, stated that Turkish entrepreneurs are looking forward to long-term and mutually beneficial relationship with their Russian counterparts. Mr. Gürses briefly spoke about Bursa Chamber of Commerce, which was founded in 1889 by enterprising businessmen and is currently the largest Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkey, with more than 45,000 members and 63 industry committees.
Then the parties signed the Memorandum on cooperation and exchanged commemorative gifts. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Platonov told his Turkish counterpart that Russia had applied to host the World Expo 2030 and asked for support, so that Moscow would win the right to host the Expo 2030. "We welcome and will charm everyone who will come," the President of the MCCI promised. Mr. Gürses promised to support the bid.
