The Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted a meeting with the business delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry from the city of Kayseri, the Republic of Turkey.
"We are glad to see representatives of your business community; we know that a lot of people come to the exhibitions that are held in Moscow.” - said in his welcoming speech the moderator of the meeting, the Chairman of the MCCI Commission on Foreign Economic Cooperation with partners in Turkey, the President of the corporation "Caesar Club," Mr. Sergey Abramov. “I would like to believe that these contacts will strengthen friendly relations between our countries.”
The MCCI’s President, Mr. Vladimir Platonov, expressed confidence that such meetings allow discussing and solving problems that may arise, while establishing new and mutually beneficial cooperation.
The representatives of the Turkish side also expressed their confidence that holding joint events will contribute to better mutual understanding and establishment of business ties, development of economic potential of the two countries, as well as nurturing the progress of investments in both economies of Russia and Turkey.
The participants of the meeting were given a presentation of the Kayseri City, the capital of the namesake province, its commercial opportunities and potential. The city has achieved significant industrial growth in recent years and currently provides small and medium-sized enterprises with favourable environment for their development.
Turkish companies are interested in the development of construction, energy, and chemical industries. They are also interested in banking, automotive business and the trade, involving spare parts.
"We are waiting for proposals from your entrepreneurs - what is interesting for them in Russia, what Moscow entrepreneurs can provide. We, in turn, will send information about what products we are interested in," summarized Mr. Platonov.
At the end of the meeting the parties exchanged commemorative gifts.
