On June 15 th, the MCCI held another financial and investment session for aspiring entrepreneurs as part of the international program "Startup Huddle”.
Moderator of the event, the managing partner of the “HIC Capital Group” and member of the management board of the Youth Financial League, Mr. Nikolai Persyanov reminded the participants that the SH format involves a 6-minute presentation, after which participants formulate a request for the experts. Then, for 20 minutes the attending experts and investors give feedback to a startup and attempt to help in solving the problem voiced.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Denis Didkovsky, the General Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship, noted: "In the Startup Huddle format, we are moving away from criticism, whether constructive or not. Basically, we want our partner startups to find help here on the platform in the form of entrepreneurial contacts. Both in terms of implementation and investment. This is a platform for establishing business contacts.
The first speaker was Mr. Nikolay Shilkin, the General Director of “Ray Consulting, LLC”. He presented the “AYCON EXIM DOX” project "Automation of export-import document flow. The project is designed to significantly reduce the costs of highly paid specialists. "Our EXIM DOX solution allows the formation and signing of foreign trade documents, subject to any law and drawn up in any language, quickly, simply and inexpensively", - how Mr. Shilkin briefly described the project.
Mr. Alan Khadikov made a pitch presentation on "3K TEAM - a Long-Term Power Source and Charging Service for Spacecraft. He cited the lack of a reliable and powerful long-life power source as one of the most important obstacles in space exploration today. "Our solution will eventually completely replace solar panels and change the whole concept of creating spacecraft," stated Alan Khadikov. He added that the optimal technical solution has been found, which uses the already existing and proven technology. "The application of our know-how made it possible to create a power supply system with a long service life - more than 100 years. The system is reliable and wear-resistant due to the absence of moving parts in the structure and is completely independent of external sources of energy, such as sunlight," the speaker added.
Ms. Anastasia Anisova presented the project "Pharmacy - Vending with Medicines". The startup offers to create a network of medical vending machines. It is envisioned to become a service with a convenient distribution system that will allow dispensing over-the-counter medicines individually.
Mr. Daniil Gribov made a pitch presentation titled "Week - a mobile app for live broadcasts, photos, and short videos.” He talked about the new mobile service, which "contains all the social, media content about any company, any organization, no matter how big or small. The application includes a mechanism for live broadcasting and a marketplace of joint purchases. For entrepreneurs, it's an opportunity to post content, find employees and reduce advertising costs. The consumer, on the other hand, will be able to make joint purchases at discounts and receive personalized offers.
The experts discussed each project with interest and gave their recommendations.
