On 17th of October, 2013 Moscow and Kiev chambers of commerce signed an agreement on cooperation as part of the Days of Kiev in Moscow. The agreement was signed by the President of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce Mikhail Kuzovlev and the President of Kyiv Chamber Nicholay Zasulsky.
Michael Kuzovlev said: "The Moscow Chamber of Commerce has developed constructive working relationship with the Chamber of Commerce of Kiev. I wish to point out that the business means, above all, relations of people. Relations between the two nations were and will be very close. Signing of a new agreement between the Chamber of Commerce in Moscow and Kiev is motivated by the desire to further enhance ties between businessmen of two capitals. I am confident that our joint efforts will contribute to prosperity of two countries and the well-being of the inhabitants of Kiev and Moscow".
Alexander Popov, Head of Kyiv City State Administration stated: "Moscow and Russia have always been and would remain strategic partners to Kiev and Ukraine".
According to the agreement, the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and the Kiev Chamber of Commerce will promote the development of direct contacts between enterprises, organizations and businesses Moscow and Kiev regions, and promote development of existing economic, commercial, scientific and technical ties.
To implement the agreement Ukrainian Business Forum "Moscow -Kiev: investment attractiveness of cities will take place on October 18, 2013 in the conference hall of the Government of Moscow.
